Bob Dylan (born May 24, 1941) and Paul Simon (born October 13, 1941) are, in my view, the two greatest American songwriters of their generation. One is a Nobel laureate who reshaped folk and pop music; the other a master of global rhythm who redefined the landscape of contemporary music by bridging cultures and continents.

As they both reach their milestone 85th year, we’ll gather to honor their staggering body of work (over 1,000 songs combined!) — from “Blowin' in the Wind” to “Graceland” and countless other gems.

That Bob and Paul are both still touring, recording and writing meaningful songs is nothing short of wondrous and a great gift to us all.
