DAVID FINO

David Fino, founder of the Brooklyn Puppet Conspiracy, began training in 1993 with master puppeteer Paul Vincent Davis of the Puppet Showplace Theater in Brookline, MA.

He continued his studies by spending two years as apprentice to Nikki Tilroe of The Palm of the Hand Stories Company and attending performance workshops with The Jim Henson Company. Shortly after, he went on the road playing “Bear” in Bear in the Big Blue House, Live!, a national tour based on the hit Disney Chanel program by Mitchell Kriegman and the Henson Co.

Since moving to New York in 2002, David has performed on Comedy Central, MTV, CBS’s The Good Wife, National Public Television and HBO's Last Week Tonight with John Oliver. David and the BPC have built puppets for The Howard Stern Show on SiruxXM, Avenue Q, Comedy Central, Disneyland, CBS’s The Good Wife, Chance the Rapper, The NY Musical Festival, Dish Nation and many others.
