The John Lennon Real Love Project: Songwriting Program for Public Elementary Schools

The John Lennon Real Love Project is a visionary songwriting program that uses John Lennon’s music and timeless message of peace, love and equality to inspire students to compose and record original songs based on their own ideas and feelings.

During the program, students and teachers engage in the creative and analytical skills necessary to compose an original song, collaborating with professional Teaching Artists, while simultaneously having fun in a positive learning environment. The academic skills learned will be applicable to all forms of self-expression. 

Additionally, the students will be introduced to John Lennon’s most powerful expressions of brotherhood and sisterhood for the purpose of manifesting those qualities in themselves, their communities and their schools.
